We're planning to ensure that our parks, waterways, outdoor facilities and open spaces meet the needs of the unique communities that enjoy them every day.

Whether it’s taking your dog for a walk each morning, studying under a tree in your local park or cycling to work- we want to know how you use outdoor spaces so we can better plan for Greater Sydney.

You can help us by taking a short 5 minute survey and telling us how you use Greater Sydney’s great outdoors, and by doing so you can also enter for the chance to win the major prize of an iPad, as well as 10 runner-up $50 EFTPOS gift card prizes. Entry will be open until midnight on the 4th August 2018.

The survey consists of a variety of easy to understand multiple choice questions about casual recreation activities (not formally organised sporting activities) such as walking, hiking, jogging, visiting a playground, having a picnic, cycling, relaxation, or gathering in outdoor public spaces such for a family BBQ.

Once the survey is complete a comprehensive report will be produced that will clearly outline the changing ways Sydneysiders use open space and waterways. This report will assist with the future planning of open space and recreation across Greater Sydney.
