White Bay Power Station – Creative Communities Competition

As part of the White Bay Power Station Community Engagement process, Placemaking NSW invites the next generation of creative minds to showcase their talents and ideas for the future of this one-of-a-kind place through the 2024 White Bay Power Station Creative Communities Competition.

School students who live or go to school in the Inner West or Glebe are invited to create artworks and stories inspired by the newly reopened White Bay Power Station. This is an opportunity for the future users and caretakers of this special place to unleash their creativity.

There are exciting prizes to be won and all winning entries will be displayed in an exhibition at White Bay Power Station during the Power Up Festival from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September 2024. Power Up Festival will be a special community event that celebrates creativity with choirs, bands, art, exhibitions, talks, workshops and food.
