The department worked closely with Blacktown City Council and stakeholders to take a coordinated approach to planning for new homes and essential infrastructure, to meet community needs in Colebee.
The new community at Colebee will benefit from up to 1,000 new homes which are close to transport, parks, shops and schools.
The first development in Colebee was a combined 18-hole golf course (on 93 hectares) and the Stonecutters Ridge residential development.
Colebee was rezoned in May 2005 through Blacktown City Council’s Local Environment Plan process.
