In April 2018, NSW Land and Housing Commission (LAHC) lodged a State Significant Development application for the redevelopment of Ivanhoe Estate.
Ivanhoe Estate is the first major project proposed under the Future Directions policy and Communities Plus program.
The proposed development is an integrated social housing development located in Macquarie Park, including residential properties, community facilities, a high school, retail and green space. Once completed, the Ivanhoe Estate will include 950 social housing and 128 affordable housing dwellings.
The project is being delivered by the Aspire Consortium (comprising community housing provider Mission Australia Housing with developers Frasers Property Australia and Citta Property Group), on behalf of LAHC.

- Concept proposal – approved on 30 April 2020
- Stage 1 construction works – approved on 30 April 2020.
