You can download the data behind the NSW Planning Portal’s population and dwelling projections below.

The portal allows you to explore the projections for your local government area or local area, as defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics Statistical Area 2 (SA2).

Each spreadsheet includes projections to 2041 for population, households and implied dwellings – the expected housing needed for the projected population. Projections to 2061 are available for NSW only.
