Official Caution issued to Wollongong Coal Limited (MP09_0013) Wollongong LGA

On 14 June 2022, the department issued an Official Caution to Wollongong Coal Limited (Wollongong Coal) for failing to submit the Social Impact Management Plan to the Planning Secretary for approval within 6 months of the date of commencement of the development. Wollongong Coal has advised that the Social Impact Management Plan will be imminently submitted , following consultation with the key stakeholders. The department will continue to monitor compliance with conditions of consent.
