Round 2 – Regional Housing Strategic Planning Fund

Overview

Applications for round 2 were open from 8 August 2023 to 29 September 2023.
$3 million in funding was available in round 2, with funding from $20,000 up to $250,000 available for each successful project.
16 projects have received $2.93 million in funding through round 2.
The funding will help councils plan strategically for future housing supply by enabling the delivery of projects such as local housing strategies, master and structure planning for new residential developments, and infrastructure servicing strategies.
Round 2 projects will support the delivery of approximately 23,769 homes.
$6 million in funding remains for future funding rounds.
