Official Caution issued to Hodgson Quarries and Plant Pty Ltd (DA267-11-99) The Hills Shire LGA

On 14 November 2023, NSW Planning issued an Official Caution to Hodgson Quarries and Plant Pty Ltd (Hodgson) for not calculating and lodging a rehabilitation and conservation bond by the date required by the conditions of consent. Hodgson has prepared the rehabilitation and calculation bond to the satisfaction of the Secretary and will lodge the final Bond in January 2024. NSW Planning will follow up to ensure it is provided. Rehabilitation and conservation bonds are important to ensure that the government secures the full cost of post-quarrying rehabilitation.
