Church St Reserve, South Windsor

Church St Reserve is a fun, new inclusive play space in South Windsor with a strong focus on nature, indigenous culture and local history. Equipment includes a double flying fox, four-way swing, carousel, climbing frame, and water and sand play, all of which is fully accessible. There are also sheltered picnic areas, trees for shade, seating throughout, and ample accessible parking. And if mum or dad need a coffee, Hawkesbury Oasis is just nearby.

Waitara Park, Hornsby

Themed around local flora and fauna, the new Waitara Park play space is a great space for kids of all ages and abilities. It features a diverse range of equipment, including a large multi-purpose play tower with two slides (one for big kids, one for little kids), inground trampolines, accessible swings and carousels, and a cubby house. The play space is fully fenced, with shade sails to provide comfort from the sun, plenty of seating, drinking fountains and accessible toilets.

Muston Park, Chatswood

Muston Park play space is well-loved in the Chatswood community, especially for its iconic Rocket Ship. Continuing with the space theme, the updated play space now includes a lunar landing module climbing frame, a Mars rover, moonboot footprints, and stepping logs reflecting the solar system. The fully fenced area also has additional mature trees for shade, a sheltered BBQ area, accessible toilets and drinking fountain, and plenty of seating.

Parramatta Park, Parramatta

Using an innovative construction process to minimise disturbance to the landscape, the new Paperbark play space at Parramatta incorporates a natural palette of materials, finishes and colours. It also features a great mix of inclusive equipment, including a water and sand play area, a range of swing options (including a joey swing for parents/carers to join in), an accessible carousel, and balance beams inset with convict tools. For the bigger kids, there’s also a giant climbing dome and a bike/scooter path.

With more inclusive play spaces set to open across NSW as part of the Everyone Can Play grant program, the NSW Government are ensuring everyone across NSW can play!
