Marsden Park is part of the North West Growth Area.
The new community at Marsden Park will benefit from up to 10,300 new homes and the delivery of local amenities close to transport options, including:
- a new town centre and two village centres
- 108 ha of open space and recreation areas
- upgrades to major roads including Richmond Road
- new primary and high schools
- protection of more than 450 ha of significant vegetation and major creek corridors
- improved connections to encourage walking and cycling.
The new neighbourhood will also help create jobs for local people. It is anticipated that Marsden Park will provide up to 3,000 new jobs, including 1,300 in the new town centre.
