The NSW State Design Review Panel (SDRP) includes a team of state government design champions and 6 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members with expertise in design and Aboriginal cultural heritage to promote opportunities to Design with Country.
NSW SDRP Panel Member
Anita established Panovscott with partner Andrew Scott in 2012, following a decade each of apprenticeship with respected Sydney practices. The practice's work demonstrates an aspiration to create joyful spaces and make a meaningful contribution to the built environment.
State Government Design Champion
Elisabeth is acting Deputy Executive Director Architectural Excellence at Sydney Metro. In this role, Elisabeth is the subject matter lead to more than 40 built environment experts, ensuring Sydney Metro is an informed and intelligent client.

Shelley is Principal of Shelley Penn Architect and worked as Design Director for the Government Architect NSW. Her work is centred on improving outcomes for people through the quality of the built environment and its impact on human experience.

Peter is the principal of Orwell and Peter Phillips, an architectural practice that has been active in building conservation since the 1950s. He has nearly 40 years of experience in heritage practice and education.

Bianca is Associate Studio Director for ASPECT Studios. She leads a dedicated team of landscape architects and designers delivering projects that demonstrate exemplary design quality, cultural value, and environmental benefit.

Philip is a Principal at AMENITY urban and natural environments and Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects. He is interested in how sustainability, landscape and design excellence can improve built environments.

Peter is the Central River Commissioner with the Greater Cities Commission and Professor of Practice at Western Sydney University School of Architecture. He was NSW Government Architect from 2012 to 2012 and is a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Matthew is Director of Matthew Pullinger Architect. He is an award-winning architect and urban designer who has led projects including the 2040 Master Plan for Sydney’s Moore Park, a mixed-use commercial development at Circular Quay and a commercial tower at 60 Martin Place.

Amanda is a director at LatStudios and also sits on design review panels for the Victorian, South Australian and Queensland governments. She brings her architecture, landscape architecture and planning expertise to a range of urban design projects.

Rod is Director of Simpson + Wilson Architects and was the inaugural Environment Commissioner of the Greater Cities Commission. He was an Associate Professor and Director of the Masters of Urban Design and Urbanism programs at the University of Sydney.

Amanda is the CEO of the Biomimicry Institute, architect, champion of sustainable architecture through practices of regenerative and biophilic design. She is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects, an author and advisor on connecting buildings, cities and nature.
