The Government Architect NSW's Strategy and Design Prequalification Scheme focuses on the delivery of strategic advice, design quality and innovation in the built environment.

The scheme offers a pool of prequalified service providers that can help NSW Government agencies engage external expertise to deliver good design outcomes in the built environment. The scheme offers a streamlined approach for both suppliers and government buyers and is structured to meet the requirements of the NSW Treasury Gateway Review process.

The scheme supports specialised design services in:

  • architecture
  • urban design
  • landscape architecture
  • emerging practices.

The scheme also supports specialised strategic services in:

  • project initiation, definition, justification and risk assessment
  • project governance and management
  • business case development
  • financial and economic analysis
  • stakeholder engagement and management
  • strategic planning
  • Aboriginal cultural engagement and advice

Applications are open all year round and we welcome new suppliers to apply for the scheme.

Apply through Buy NSW and refer to the scheme number 0801.
