Our streets are public spaces used for everyday activities. They provide space to socialise, and they add vitality to neighbourhoods. If we consider the activity that happens along our streets in conjunction with the movement, the design of our integrated transport networks and our strategic planning can better contribute to the liveability of communities and increase productivity.

The Movement and Place framework, developed by the Government Architect NSW and Transport for NSW in consultation with other stakeholder agencies, creates a shared language and approach to help all stakeholders achieve better place outcomes for the people of NSW. It seeks collaboration between movement and place practitioners and the community to ensure that transport systems better support our places.
