Official Caution issued to Next Contracting Pty Ltd (SSD-9649) Randwick City LGA

On 24 January 2022, the Department issued an Official Caution to Next Contracting Pty Ltd (Next Contracting) for carrying out construction works outside of the approved construction hours at the Doncaster Avenue Student Accommodation development in Kensington. Between 10pm and 5am on 25 and 26 October 2021, Next Contracting undertook storm water diversion works that involved noisy activities outside of the approved construction hours. Construction hours are limited in order to minimise adverse impacts on the surrounding community. Next Contracting has shown remorse and has taken proactive steps to ensure compliance with conditions of consent.
